Psychotherapy TEAM

Josee Wright - RPN Psychotherapist

Josee is a Nurse Psychotherapist registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
Throughout her professional journey, Josee has gained experience in various care environments, including frontline nursing, clinical instruction, and classroom teaching.
She has worked in remote northern communities such as Thompson, MB, and Whati, NW. Over the years, through a blend of professional training and personal experiences, Josee has closely collaborated with local Indigenous communities. She provides psychotherapy, educational workshops, and reiki services, and has worked alongside Indigenous elders offering support and assistance during traditional ceremonies.
Recently, she was honored with the gift of two eagle feathers. Josee has developed a unique skill set that allows her to connect with clients in a heartfelt ,intuitive, and grounded way. She offers a non-judgmental presence, embracing whateverarises with acceptance. Having embarked on her own path of self-healing and transformation, Josee has learned that facing her own darkness and overcoming her wounds is the most effective means of supporting others in their struggles.
Josee has profound personal experience with intergenerational trauma, having been both a bully and a victim, and has faced tragic events that affected her and her family. Josee has witnessed medical miracles, serendipitous moments, and complex relationships, navigating both sides of the spectrum. She is knowledgeable about codependency, addictions, ineffective communication, spiritual bypassing, and both conscious and unconscious parenting, including the journey of re-parenting her inner child. These experiences empower Josee to connect with her clients in a deeply authentic and meaningful way, ensuring that their healing and liberation journey is shared with someone who has walked a similar sacred path.
Having experienced pain herself, she has reclaimed her spirit and gathered the wisdom necessary for deep healing and transformation, reshaping her life, relationships, and purpose.
It is her honour to accompany you on your sacred journey.
On her journey along the red road, Josee treasures the precious time she shares with her husband and their two wonderful children. Family and friends occupy a special spot in her heart. She has a deep passion for the great outdoors, where she immerses herself in nature and explores indigenous cultures and lifestyles.

Red Arrow is so proud to welcome Josee to the team!
