Sarah Tinkler-Josephi -  Speech-Language Pathologist Senior Lead

Sarah Tinkler-Josephi is a registered speech language pathologist (SLP) with the College of Audiologists and Speech Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO) and Speech-Language and Audiology Canada (SAC). She earned her Master’s of Science in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology from the University of Alberta in 2009. 

Sarah was born and raised in Thunder Bay and has worked professionally in Thunder Bay and Toronto. 

 

Sarah is passionate and is dedicated towards increasing her knowledge and expertise in various areas related to speech-language pathology assessment and treatment protocols, ensuring her ability to provide current, client-centred and evidence-based treatment. She is extremely excited to be providing services in her hometown of Thunder Bay and across NWO to those in need.

Kate Clower -  Speech-Language Pathologist 

Kate is a registered speech language pathologist (SLP) with the College of Audiologists and Speech Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO) and a member of the Ontario Association of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (OSLA). She graduated with a Masters of Science in Communication Disorders from Minnesota State University-Mankato. 

 

Kate was born and raised in Thunder Bay, ON and is a proud Indigenous Canadian being a member of the Red Sky Metis Independent Nation. Kate has been providing speech and language services since 2008 and is passionate about providing individualized and client-centred speech and language services to her home community, region and province. 

 

Prior to her professional career as an SLP, Kate obtained a full ride Division I NCAA hockey scholarship to Minnesota State University-Mankato (MSU-Mavericks). Kate continues to support local hockey coaching at various levels and with a number of both boys and girls teams. Kate is a wife to Chad Clower and a mother of two boys and two beautiful black labs. In her spare time she enjoys playing on her own hockey team, skate skiing, golfing, the outdoors and recently began some interior design. 

 

Kate brings a wealth of experience, knowledge and veteran leadership to her clinical practice and is passionate in providing client-centred care. I am honoured to welcome Kate to Chad Clower Speech-Language Pathologist Professional Corporation in a full-time capacity where she will be working with all ages in Ontario, as well as Yukon, NWT and Nunavut. 

Kate is registered and licensed in Ontario.

Hailey Giles - Speech-Language Pathologist

Hailey Giles was born and raised in London, Ontario where she completed her undergrad at Western University. She then moved to Barrie to undergo the Communicative Disorders Assistant program at Georgian College before moving to Scotland to pursue her Master’s Degree.

 

Hailey completed her Master’s of Science in Speech-Language Pathology at Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh is now registered with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO). Hailey completed her Master’s dissertation on the effectiveness of tele-practice in speech-language pathology and is very passionate about the  versatility and positive outcomes virtual services can provide.

 

Hailey is excited to provide personalised and client-centred services to her future clients. 

 

Chad Clower - Speech-Language Pathologist

Originally from British Columbia Chad has proudly called Thunder Bay home since 2009. He obtained his Master of Science degree in Communication Disorders from Minnesota State University-Mankato. In his professional career, he has had the pleasure of working in the public school system, as well as in the hospital inpatient setting at St. Joseph's hospital in the Acquired Brain Injury program and community setting.

Chad has been providing speech and language services since 2008 and is extremely passionate about providing individualized and functional speech and language programs. He has extensive knowledge and experience working with all ages of people from birth to 99+ in all areas of communication deficits including: speech disorders, language disorders, cognitive communication disorders and dysphagia/swallowing disorders. He also has extensive experience working with people living with neurological deficits such as: Acquired Brain Injury, stroke, catastrophic/non-catastrophic injury, Motor Vehicle Accident injury, neurodegenerative disease and concussion.

Chad is a husband to his wonderful wife and a very proud father of two beautiful young boys. He loves his family time and is an avid outdoorsman.  Chad feels very fortunate to have had the pleasure and opportunity of working with the many different groups of people that call Thunder Bay and area home and feels extremely privileged to be able support so many people across the country to achieve their speech, language and communication goals!
